ACTION

LifeGate PlasticLess®

LifeGate PlasticLess® is the project that aims to help reduce pollution in Italian seas by collecting plastic waste in the water of ports and marinas by means of an innovative device.

In partnership with Seabin Project and Poralu Marine, as of 2018, more than 60 Seabins have been installed in Italian and international seas and lakes. These innovative devices can trap about 1.5 kg of debris per day from the surface of the water, i.e. more than half a tonne of waste per year, including microplastics up to 2 mm in diameter and microfibres up to 0.3 mm.

Companies can support the project by sponsoring the purchase or adoption of Seabin devices aimed at recovering plastic waste in the seas. An environmental project with a strong media and communication appeal to support the project, which allows companies to build their brand reputation.
